Spayed female in Central, IL...[AUG 01]
She is a great dog for someone who understands the breed and does not have cats! She has a high prey drive towards them. Otherwise, she is a happy, great dog! She always is thrilled to see you, does well with strangers, adjusts to new things easily and is great with children! | ZUMA |
2 yo, spayed female in IL [Apr 02]
Although this girl is a registered Malinois (from Mal parents), she looks exactly like a Terv (long hair), so please consider her. Zuma is one of those 'velcro' malinois that love to be with their people and love to play! Zuma has been tested on agility equipment and tackles each obstacle with complete confidence. Zuma is good with children and male dogs but cannot go to a home with small animals. Zuma is althletic and will do well in a home that has a job for her to do and way to utilize her intelligience and energy. Contact Aileen at (847) 374-4625 or belgnaussie@yahoo.com.

| DESIREE |
Young, spayed, female mix in Yucaipa, CA [Sept 04]
We rescued this little girl; she's looks to have a little German Shepherd in her, possibly part Cattle Dog. She's 18" tall, 33 lbs, the Vet says she won't get much bigger. She is intelligent, craves affection, and loves to cuddle up with you. Since she has herding dog in her background she needs to be with ‘her’ humans. She’s a good ‘indoor’ dog but she still needs a yard to run in to burn off energy. She trains and corrects easily. She’d be a great “only” dog. With training she might make a good agility dog since she is fast, agile and learns quickly. She has shown some signs that she might make a good tracking dog. We especially think that the way she snuggles up, cuddles when she senses someone is unhappy that she might be a good candidate for the Therapy Dog program. She is house broken, uses the doggy door, she is leash wise, heels nicely, & loves to ride in the car. Based on her initial reactions when we brought her home we feel that she probably has been abused in the past. We set about to de-program these negative experiences. With love and care she got over most of her fears but she still needs a “safe place” to hide and feel secure. She is still afraid of Fireworks as we learned over the 4th of July. She will come with a basket full of toys, her own bed, dishes and food. She is spayed, chipped, has her shots is currently licensed in L.A. County and is she's a sweet girl who needs a loving home. She needs someone who understands dogs and I would not recommend that she be around small children since she is a heel nipper. Also She is a bit of an escape artist so she needs a secure yard. | Sienna |
3 yo spayed female in Southern California...[OCT 05]
Big, strong and beautiful, Sienna needs an active home!! A Malinois with unusually long coat, Sienna is the product of an intervariety breeding. Her sire is a wonderful Terv (Loup Noir lines), and her dam is a top-flight Malinois. She was bred in the US, and is not registered at this time. Sienna was recently surrendered to us by a family who is expecting a child, and moving to another location. In the stress of all these changes, they did not feel they could give Sienna the time and energy she needed to be happy. Sienna is high-energy and somewhat reactive, so she needs to go to an experienced home. At this point, we would also say no other female dogs (she does fine with the boys), no cats or other small pets, including small dogs. Not sure about young children, but think it depends on the parenting involved. I think she would do very well in many performance sports, if she has an effective trainer. Sienna is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on her vaccinations. Contact Teri Meredith, Lily Rock Belgian Rescue, at teri2ns@earthlink.net
